February 2011, Gala Theatre, Durham: God Only Knows, by Ed Waugh & Trevor Wood through Cloud Nine's PlayDay process, will now be produced at Durham's Gala Theatre.
Summer 2011: Grendel & Beowulf: After a series of discussions with Dodgy Clutch Productions, Cloud Nine is now looking towards a joint outdoor production in Summer 2011 of Kitty Fitzgerald's new take on the Beowulf story, working title: Grendel & Beowulf
And more...: The Shatila Project aims to stage in 2011 a new production featuring Palestinian refugee children, with performances in the Northeast and in Beirut. Arts Council England turned down a grant application but both Scottish AC and UNISON North West are interested..; We have been approached by Toby Bridges of Day 8, the Whitley Bay based production company, about a possible future co-production between them and Cloud Nine; Cloud Nine has also been contacted by Penny Grennan of Hadrians Arts Trust about revisiting the scenes of Off the Wall in a major planned new project to take place in villages along the Wall - but with no walking this time!; Keep watching the web site for news of these and all other future projects.
